Over the past month, we’ve cataloged 20,000+ software jobs and found some fascinating insights from the data:

Most commonly posted software jobs

Backend led the way with 25% of jobs, followed by DevOps (14%), Embedded (13%), Data (11%), and Frontend (9%).

Highest paying software jobs

Blockchain was the highest paying job type of the past month with an average salary of $185k (take that, Gensler). AI/Machine Learning was second ($184.9k) followed by Embedded ($164k), DevOps ($163k) and Security ($161k).

Highest paying software skills

Ethereum led the way with an average of $203k, followed by Hadoop ($193k) and NLP ($186k).
